Set a bedtime for your child. Do not wait till he/she is
sleepy, yawning and rubbing the eyes. Set it depending on when he/she is tired
and sleepy at night usually. Calm him/her using some techniques like giving him/her
a bath or reading your child a story.
Swaddle the babies during initial three months. Run a fan
so that your baby won’t wake up easily hearing small sounds. At morning, expose
your kid to light for about half an hour. Melatonin which is the sleep hormone
get suppressed when light comes in. So follow a timetable for your kid’s sleep
and all is well.
