Gems are precious and precious things are meant to be taken care of. Wrap each gem in separate cloth as there are chances of scratching.Also keep them in separate boxes. Clean using mild soap and soft-toothed toothbrush. Keep away cosmetics, perfumes, hairspray etc. from gems like pearl, amber and coral. Clean gems with a soft cotton cloth before wearing it.If you like swimming, avoid using gems during that time as the chlorinated water in the pool can cause damage to gems.Ultrasonic cleaning is not desirable for gems as it may cause breakage to stones. When you are doing any physical work like gardening or washing clothes/dishes please remove the gems.
