Filled Under:

Dress according to your shape, Ladies !

Every woman is different. Your body shape might be lean or a bit healthier. Dress according to your body type to look your best.

Hourglass: Go for an approximate same width – waist formula between the shoulders and hips. Ideal would be choosing a cloth that is well shaped and fitted – according to the line of your body. Well, no doubt that this one is considered to be the classic shape of females and happens to be the most flexible one as well. However, you are also required to avoid the styles and shapes that tend to hide your body shape, which can lead to add an extra bit of volume to your waist.

Pear: Consider for a definition, wherein the shoulders and upper body goes wider than your hips. Go for keeping a balance of the top half of your body with the hips using clothes that make the shoulders look broader. There should be an extra bit of care for choosing the bigger outfits and anything that could possibly pour in some volume to the lower half. Also, you have to take a distance from details, narrowing leg and patterns on thigh or hip area. On the other hand, go for a mini skirt or a pencil skirt in order make a finishing touch to the hips and thigh.

Inverted Triangle: Another such a thing that you can consider is for a wider shoulder when considered with that of the hips, is a small bust – no waist option. Keep wearing cloths that make the hip to appear a bit broader, on your lower body. At the same time, you will have to avoid the fashions that force you to look for wide neck, big collars or patterns on top etc.

Apple: Here, when the shoulders and upper body appears to be wider than the hips – a proportion, wherein no waist definition can be reached into. Since you are open to have quite a bit of weight surrounding your waist, you need to balance the shoulders from the front and side views. Well, keep an eye on the body line and avoid details, especially around the bust and hips (On tummy as well). On the other hand keeping details around the shoulders and avoiding the belts and an excessive fabric in the mid section can all be a great option.

Lean Column: In this regard, you have to make sure that the shoulders are in line with the hips, leading to an option that could create the curves appearing around the hips and waist. Go for layering options in order to shorten the top half of the leg. Say a big no to the figure-hugging garments, or long straight fitted dresses or even trousers and sleeves as well.
