Tips to control eating disorders of your kids


Don’t blame yourself or your family for your child’s eating problems. Your negative comments about your own body may be overheard by your child and might be affecting him/her without your knowledge. Don’t tell comments such only thin are pretty, fat is ugly etc. Your kids may develop such an image and call their fat friends ugly and might be overly conscious to be skinny thin.


Be careful to choose healthy and nutritious food for the whole family. Moderate exercising is also recommended for both adults and kids. But do not take extreme diet as to put your health on hold. All types of food-be it carbohydrates, proteins or vitamins can be included in the right proportion in a diet. Do not make negative comments about exercising and end up doing it excess. Remember your younger ones take after you and you are supposed to set a good example.
