In the bulb, if the filament is separated from connecting wires then the effort is not worth it. If the filament is broken, the bulb is fused and filament dangles to both sides of the connecting wire i.e. one filament end is attached to connecting wire and other dangles.
Connect the other end patiently to the end that is broken. Result is guaranteed, so be patient. Keep the bulb into the bulb socket or holder and put the switch on. Keep the light on for a few seconds as heat will make the filament expanded, connect to the broken end and remain connected. So fix the fuse and save money.
